About us

Founded in 2017 in Strasbourg by dancer and choreographer Noémie Cordier, Compagnie Watt embodies a vibrant and inclusive artistic project rooted in urban cultures.
Its mission: to create, share, and celebrate the languages of dance and music born from underground scenes.

The name “Watt” evokes creative power, kinetic energy, the spark that fuels movement and rhythm. The company embraces a cross-disciplinary and socially engaged approach to artistic creation, drawing inspiration from multiple fields.

An artistic vision built around three pillars:

  • Creation: Original performances and pieces that reflect, question, and reinvent our relationship to the body, space, and others.
  • Transmission: Workshops, courses, and training programs that pass on living knowledge and make dance accessible to all.
  • Celebration: Cultural and festive events that bring people together, break down barriers, and create shared experiences through party, dance and music.

Watt is a human and artistic lab, a company in constant motion.
